1 November: the first reference to Arsenal being unbeaten “so far”

This video is longer than the ones I normally choose running at around 15 minutes, but I’ve chosen it because at the beginning we do get what I think is the first commentator’s mention of Arsenal being the only unbeaten team in the league so far.  And it gives me good memories as I was there.

It also shows an utterly typical Henry goal and a staggering break for the second goal.  If you have 15 minutes to spare do have a look. And there is that lovely opening quote about Arsenal being the one remaining unbeaten team in the league.

Arsenal went into this game top of the league with Leeds almost bottom, so the result itself was not a surprise…
