The list of the 270+ videos we have gathered commemorating events on individual days are to be found via this link.   We are also developing our video collection series in which we are gathering together the best videos we have against each club we have played in recent years – and adding some new ones to the list as we go.   Today’s addition is Leicester City – and a full list of all the clubs we have covered so far is at the end.

Leicester City and Arsenal – the videos

Arsenal have beaten Leicester 68 times, there have been 45 draws and 33 Leicester wins.

13 October 1984: Leicester City 1 Arsenal 4.  The result kept Arsenal to the top of the league, three points above Tottenham in second.

Leicester 3 Arsenal 3 1997.  Bergkamp delivers three goals of the season in one game.

25 August 2001: Arsenal 4 Leicester 0.  League match 3 of the third Double season.  Ljungberg, Wiltord, Henry, and Kanu scored making it 9 goals in 3, but only two wins.

Leicester 2 Arsenal 5: 26 September 2015

Leicester 2 Arsenal 5 was Leicester’s worst defeat and Arsenal’s best win of the season.  An Alexis hattrick plus goals from Walcott and Giroud gave Arsenal the win.

14 February 2016: Arsenal beat Leicester 2-1 in the League with Walcott and Welbeck scoring – the latter in the 90th minute.  Arsenal only won one of the next eight games during which Arsenal went out of the FA Cup and Champions League.   But a nine match unbeaten run in the League at the end of the season, helped Arsenal’s league position.

10 February 2015: A 2-1 home win over Leicester signalled the start of Arsenal’s revival with eight straight wins.  Before the match Arsenal were sixth.  Two matches later they were third, and six matches after that, second.
